Mike drew some chimps on Sunday with his new pens.
Other similar machines
We found this sign in Beckenham and wondered what other similar machines there are to bicycles and tricycles ... unicycles obviously, but quadcycles and quincycles too? The sign reads:
Borough of Beckenham. The riding of bicycles, tricycles, or other similar machines on this footpath is prohibited by byelaw. Maximum penalty £5. R. Webster Storr, Town Clerk.
Apologies for the anomalies
You may have noticed that things are a little skew-whiff on our site at the moment. Why the homepage titles are suddenly sitting naked under their thumbnails bare of any formatting, we'll never know. We've been in touch with our webmaster and are waiting to hear back from the mountain-top. In the meantime, please bear with us and slide your eyes over any misaligned text ... apologies.
General Pattern
Patterns and monsters, what more could you want?
When in Rome ...
When visiting the Vatican Museum, warm up with the Raphael Rooms and the Sistine Chapel before admiring the wonderful variety of Papal transport in the Carriage Pavilion. (No, we didn't know he had a plane either).
News: Imperial War Museum, Horrible Histories
Tanya is currently working on the design for the Horrible Histories exhibition at the Imperial War Museum, due to open 29 July 2013. The exhibition is about spies in the Second World War and combines the distinctive voice of Horrible Histories with fascinating objects from the museum collection (think fake IDs, lethal stationery, suicide pills, trip wires and an Enigma machine). Here's a sneak preview of some illustration she's created.
Horniman Walrus
We recently completed this job for the Horniman Museum. The famous walrus is on loan to Turner Contemporary, Margate. We created these consolatory panels so his fans can leave him a message. Here's the Storify account:
Coincidence no.1
We like a coincidence: the doors of a disused tram shed and the frontage of a building, both in Gdansk.
David Dipré at Collyer Bristow Gallery, install
We helped artist David Dipré install his work at Collyer Bristow Gallery for the exhibition 'A House of Many Windows'. The show runs until 12 June 2013, so catch it while you can:

Beautiful food
This was not created by a food stylist ... it's one of many dishes served at a local family restaurant in Saga Ken, Japan where we visited Tanya's family. Amazing design, colour and flavour.
